Believe it or not, the following events actually took place as detailed below. Does the preceding sentence bring back any television/movie memories?
Anyway, tell me what you think of these two examples below:
Chantix, an anti-smoking medication for pilots and air traffic controllers, has been banned because its side effects outweighed its suppressive benefits.
Some of these 'side effects' are quite unbelievable and theyare said to "include accidents and falls, potentially lethal heart rhythm disturbances, heart attacks, seizures, diabetes and various psychiatric disturbances."
Makes you wonder a bit about the real and main effects/benefits of such a nicely named approved prescription drug, doesn't it?
Lastly, I got an interesting e-mail from "ezines@arcamax.com." It seemed worthwhile to mention it because of the title and its claim.
The subject was entitled simply "
did you see this?
" and it claimed as follows. I have not watched the video because of my slow Internet connection, so please tell me if the hype is at all hopeful:[ Hey,
Some doctor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is helping people lose 8% bodyfat in less than 3 months, and he is teaching people everything they need to know to burn fat in the gym. He's giving away a free video course for free. I thought you'd like to see it.
