Who can say that Michael was not a rivetting dancer, a sensitive singer, a genius songwriter, and the ultimate showman?
He surrounded himself with the best musicians and entourage that the professions could find and demanded the best from himself and others.
I never saw him perform live but I certainly was a fan for many years - he was, afterall, just 'a few' years older than me, even though my village elder would not have placed me in his Age Grade.
He achieved so much - so many hit songs, world records, earnings and investments, and so on. Yet those throwing stones behind their lines refuse to leave him alone, even in death!
Some people just do not know what is to pay last respects to a great and unique man. Now they say he was gay, had a secret steady girlfriend, owed millions and was on the verge of bankruptcy, his marriage to Debbie Rowe was never consummated and so his children were actually not his biologically, and so on....
Why can't he get some R.E.S.P.E.C.T. even now he is late and passed on? Rest In Perfect Peace, MJ! I will never forget Off The Wall, Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Rock With You, Beat It, Who Is It?, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, Liberian Girl, Wanna Be Starting Something, We Are The World, ABC, Billie Jean, The Earth Song and so many of your other songs that also had ".....a lot of power....".
Missed your concert in London in the 1970's because I was in Lagos and in school, missed your concert in St. Louis in Missouri because I had no credit card to pay for a ticket as a College student in Arkansas, and missed your Asian Concert Tour but I will not miss seeing the stars troop out on Tuesday week at The Staples Center in Los Angeles for your upcoming curtain call before retiring In Memoriam to Neverland....
