So now the Nigerian president - whoever "s/he" is right now - is back home as surreptitiously as he went away abroad for three calendar months and a half-week. Whoopee.....!

There are even more questions now. For example, who has seen the run-away president so far - two days after his sneaked return?

Associated with that quandary is this: who commanded the troops that guarded him from the airport into the Aso Rock Villa, where the Acting President and supposed Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces slept unaware of the cock-crow-at-dawn aircraft landing, V.I.P. movement, and cavalcade convoy to the erstwhile vacant presidential wing?

Is this a country, a nation, or what? What does 'vice-president' mean now, if 'acting president and commander-in-chief' means nothing?

Let's just pray and hope that the Saudis have not sold us a dummy or a 'sleeper' in the Aso Villa.
